Admiral Xu Zhicai

Location: Patriot's Memorial, The Forbidden City, Beijing, China

Adm. Zhicai was not a traitor, this was the first thing he said and pointed out to me, and I fully agree. Adm. Zhicai saved many lives and his homeland, China. A quick summary of his story was that he, a sub crew and captain, their families, and any other survivors stole a highly advanced submarine. This is why he immediately said he wasn't a traitor, and again I agree because he not only saved life on the sub, but his homeland from a separate conflict. Many people will disagree with our view because he did "nuke" China, but really there wasn't much left. Going back to his sub, for any of you that don't know much about submarines here's a quick lesson. Almost all of them have their own independent power source, Xu's a nuclear reactor. They are able to operate independent underwater, in other words not having to go up to the surface. There were 3 of these specific subs named Type 96, Type 94, Type 92. They took the Type 94 which was still pretty advanced. Finally, Adm. Zhicai gave me a satellite view of two of the ballistic subs Type 92 and Type 94.
